Kids Yoga… Getting Started

Incorporating Yoga into our daughters life from very early on has been instrumental in our communication and conflict resolution. Two areas that commonly get named the “terrible twos” or “trying threes”. By taking the time to teach and connect with her on a level which she understands and can assign words with the way she is feeling we have been able to discuss the complexities of emotion and how to handle anger. We by no means have it “all” figured out, but this is what helped us get started, and I hope it helps you.

My “BIG” (in reverse) Moment

One week ago, I literally had a “BIG” in reverse moment, and became a kid again!! Time is your most precious resource…. Don’t waste it!!!

Once I became a mom the value of my time took on a whole new meaning. In order to be a working mom I was no longer just exchanging my time for dollars.
