Bootcamp Month 1 Recap #22MinHC

It’s been such an incredible opportunity to take part in this Coach Exclusive Test Group with one of my favorite trainers Mr. Tony Horton himself.  As of TODAY you can actually get a sneak peek of how I’ve been hustling everyday to get my results.  But only if you’re a member of the CLUB which is an awesome way to preview some of the amazing BB Library of workouts. If you missed my first post about 22 Minute Hard Corps, I shared how before this bootcamp started I exacerbated an old injury and fully tore my labrum in my Right Shoulder. So I was nervous that the injury would prevent me from taking the challenge. However, I’ve been able to modify and still get some incredible results.
Also, this yogi loving mama, was not sure that she would dig the cadence of a bootcamp style workout, but the fact that Tony delivers it in such a fun and down to business way has me looking forward to each workout. 
SO HERES THE RUN DOWN…

THE MOVES:
Simple, yet inventive. I’m doing moves that I haven’t done before in other programs (which I love), but that are also NOT complicated. BONUS…. because they are new to my body I’m feeling and seeing tone and definition in muscles I haven’t before.  Gotta love good ‘Ol muscle confusion. 🙂
We get A LOT done in 22 minutes, working multiple muscle groups all at one time. And it’s balanced with Cardio and Resistance Training Sessions. 
THE EQUIPMENT: 
Chin Up Max Pull Up Assist Band (Optional… for some, but not for this kid, I love mine THIS IS WHAT I USE) 😉 
* Set of light and Set of Heavier Weights (I’m using 8lbs and 12 lbs, being modest due to my injury) 
OR
* BB Sandbag (Will come with the Deluxe kit and is used interchangeably with the free weights for desired resistance. Full it weighs 20 lbs.) 
THE FOOD: 
Eating Clean and Portion Controlled. I’ve been keeping it pretty dialed in, and as close to the plan as possible. However, I also want to give a realistic account of my experience with the program. So I ended up bumping myself up a bracket in favor of getting an additional serving of a few containers. I also,  OF COARSE have my daily dose of Superfoods each day with my ShakeO. 
I also decided to give the Performance Line a try for the Test Group, and I’m SOOOOO thankful I did. Having my Chocolate Recover after workouts is a treat and has saved me from being sore, and theVanilla Recharge at night has made a HUGE difference in my recovery, soreness, given me better sleep, and I’m more rested in the a.m. 
Energize has become an invaluable supplement to my early a.m. workouts to get me going and help me push harder, without all the crazy jitters I typically get from pre-workout formulas. Hydrate is a family favorite and is awesome for replacing the electorlytes lost in my cardio sessions. 
THE COMMUNITY: 
Getting to participate in the Test Group alongside other enthusiastic coaches, who are as dedicated as I am to giving this their all, is an incredible experience. 
These communities we create are part of the reason I love what I do as a coach so much. We live in such a fast paced world, where although we are more connected in the digital sense we sometimes lack “real” connection. Being able to really engage with a community of like minded individuals that get it, are supportive, motivated and motivating is such a blessing and fun experience. 
I CAN’T WAIT to lead my first group of challengers through this program in just over a month!! This program is for sure one of my favorites to date. Tony, as usual, did not disappoint.
