The Hughes Ohana is moving to Japan! This unexpected turn of events has certainly shaken things up around here!!
After 6 amazing years making Hawaii our home, Mike has been selected to do his XO tour & then take command of a ship in Japan.
To say this news was a surprise is an understatement (more on that later
). I have OH so much to share on this topic. (Which we’ve only known about for a couple weeks )
But we have MASSIVE Faith that God is at the forefront of this next chapter in our lives. Let’s just say, it’s already been quite the “character building” adventure 
. And, I’m relieved to finally share our big news as we start to unpack what this next adventure will look like for us.
I am so proud of my hubby. Who always has promised that our life would be an adventure, and who has yet to disappoint 
So stay tuned as I share the journey moving our family to Japan and beyond.
We still have a plenty of time left here in Hawaii, so I now feel an incredible responsibility to make sure and blog all the wonder of our Island home as I do replays of all our greatest island hits before our big move.
So expect even more Island memories to be made before we go, and let me know if there are things you would like to see or have me blog about.
