Pregnancy Journal & Bump Date: 30 Weeks

In this house “hump day” is BUMP DAY. 🤰🏼🙌🏼 This week we’re celebrating  #30weekspregnant.

And these growth comparison charts make me giggle cause according to which one you check, Kyla (aka Baby Ky) is somewhere between the size of a cucumber 🥒 or a large head of cabbage.

But since big-sister-to-be Mac loves cucumbers, they are never in short supply around here so cucumber it is! 

One thing is FACT… This babe is GROWING and is weighing in over 3 pounds and is breech, meaning my poor bladder is taking some extra “love”  and this mama never strays too far from the loo (just keeping it real, friends).

Today was also the first day I had to literally ROLL out of bed. No more sitting straight up for this mama. I’m all about the “roll.” Haha. I share all this with a huge smile on my face because, despite the “joys” of pregnancy, I feel abundantly blessed to be carrying this precious life inside me.

There was a time not too long ago we weren’t sure it was in God’s plan for us to have another little one, and I’m just so grateful it was. 💞 All in HIS time!

This week is gonna be FULL of adventures, which kicked off yesterday with our mermaid underwater maternity shoot. Let’s just say I got an extra workout swimming, diving, holding my breath, and navigating a dress with the ocean tide and underwater. I knew I had been working out daily for a reason. 😜And today I welcome some incredible mamas to the island who earned a Hawaiian retreat planned by yours truly. We’ll be snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, spa-ing, and livin’ up the Aloha.

All part of our Good Vibe Tribe Culture of paying it forward and I’m sooooooooo excited!

I’ll be sharing our adventures here and on Facebook and also giving you an opportunity to be on the NEXT ONE!

For now, my little cucumber and I are going to get ready to pick up our visitors! Aloha! 🌴

Being able to rock Cardio like this at #30weekspregnant is cause for celebration in this mamas book. ✨🙌🏼 .

Especially since my 1st pregnancy was completely whole different ball game in terms of energy, endurance, and just overall happiness about the process. .

I felt pregnant ALL OVER and Self conscious, I knew I had no reason to complain, as being pregnant is a blessing and gift, but couldn’t get my head to get on the same page as my heart. Cause I just felt like CRAP! .

I swore NOT THIS TIME!! This time I would exercise, fuel my body properly, and keep my mindset in check with positive support, and surround myself with other health driven mamas. .

And that’s exactly what I’ve done and what has made this a 180 experience in my #2ndpregnancy .

I share this because I want to help my other mamas & mama-2-Bs out there!!! .

I’ve been working on something super special just for you!! .

I love this video because it so clearly shows you that even though I’m #30weekspregnant and my friends visiting are NOT, we can still workout together using modifications and that my preggo boo-tay can still GET IT DONE 😂 .

This time of year many of us are traveling , have “no” time with kids home from school, have I fallen off track and out of our “normal” routine. .

I get it. I also know how much better I feel when I make my workouts happen even when I’m traveling, feel like I have no time, and still make the time for 25 mins somedays even 10 it makes a WORLD of difference. .

I’ve LOVED 💞 having a workout buddy the past few days. Even while on “vacation” and although most of our retreat involved LOTS of adventures & activities, we still made sure our daily sweat sesh was a non-negotiable. .

D (here in the video with me) has had an incredible transformation thus far on her journey, and I love that she now shares all she’s learned along her road to health and wellness with others. .

It’s such a testament to turning something that was an obstacle for you into an opportunity, not only help yourself but to make a difference and help others. .

Much the same reason I’m so excited about my Expecting Mamas Health & Fitness Group I have kicking off MONDAY June 5th! .

At 31 weeks pregnant being able to still workout and have the stamina to seek out adventures, chase after our 5 year old, run a business, and run our household solo while my hubby is deployed hasn’t happened by accident. .

It’s been the result of learning what not to do in my first pregnancy and doing things different this time around. .

In my group I not only share the workouts, but what my nutrition has looked like before and during each trimester, my preferred supplements, and all the mindset and motivation tools hat help me get over the “tough” and hormonal stretches. .

Plus we tackle more of the “fun” pregnancy 😜 topics too, and TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO JOIN US!!! .

Was up at 4:30 this a.m. 😳⏰Just to get out of the door on time for our sunrise maternity shoot, but that doesn’t mean I was gonna miss my workout! 🙌🏼

Busting limits and flipping babies

MODIFYING is still GETTING IT DONE 🙌🏼 and at #30weekspregnant I’m all about the modifications today along with busting self imposed limits and flipping this bae bae
