Pregnancy Journal & Bump Date: 18 weeks

#18weekspregnant Bump and Baby Update.
Baby is the size of a Bell Pepper, which is appropriate because I LOVE grubbing on some Bell Peppers with hummus these days 😊
We just had the babes anatomy screening yesterday, and the results are in on baby’s gender 🤗😄🙌🏼 which are now in a “sealed” envelope on the counter, and we’ll find out at our gender reveal end of the week Eeeeeeeeeeee!! But everything else looked healthy and on track!
I’m loving having my hubby on leave this week, helping me tackle all our #predeployment house projects, and I am taking advantage of the extra help and have gotten to a few extra heated yoga classes in addition to my normal daily workouts.
As far as GRUB…. I’ve had some random cravings for Hot Dogs (bizarre because I usually loathe them) But

my daughter has been kind enough to share her Applegate Chicken Dogs with me 😜
I’m loving and craving Acai Bowls, dark chocolate coconut butter cups, fresh fruit and veggies, eggs, and occasional seafood. Rice, quinoa, and Whole grain tortillas have been staples too.
I’m getting “curvier” by the day and am just being mindful to lovingly embrace all the changes my body is going through.
As someone that struggled with a past eating disorder and body image issues I have to always be mindful of the ongoing dialogue I have with myself when I experience changes outside of my control, especially when they concern my body.

My wellness community is full of positive energy and support which is one of the reasons it’s been such a transformative piece along my wellness journey and continues to fuel my passion for healthy BALANCED living!

Pregnancy is a beautiful process and gift, and I’m staying present with each phase, embracing changes that I resisted last time.

My Ever Changing Body & Yoga Flow
I believe the 5 most important things in life are faith, love, gratitude, courage, and enthusiasm. .

Loving & being grateful for God, others, and yourself, taking courage from that and living each day with faith and enthusiasm I believe are the basis for living a happy life. .

Today I celebrated the 18 week mark in our pregnancy by stepping onto my mat with the intention to love my ever-changing body and practice, and to try something challenging with courage and gusto. .

We’re almost 1/2 way through, and we find out THIS WEEK if we’ll be welcoming a girl or boy!! .

Beyond all else I am just grateful to be having a healthy active pregnancy. To be working from home this time instead of might shifts at the hospital, so I can cherish all these moments with my family, and to have my hubby here for just a bit longer before he deploys to share in some of this pregnancy. .

Expressing and living in Gratitude is so important. I hope you give yourself the opportunity to LIVE in gratitude with courage and gusto TODAY! 🙌🏼 #18weekspregnant

Almost #19weekspregnant and this ocean air must be invigorating cause this mama woke up energized and ready to get in a cardio workout like no other this a.m. .

We’re on our Baby moon staycation on the North Shore, and our Lanai was the perfect spot to bust out some HIIT Sweat intervals. .

I get questions all the time about how to stay on track while traveling, I bring my laptop and have workouts of all varieties that I can stream at anytime from anywhere. .

These type of workouts were definitely not always my jam, but as I’ve gotten stronger and built my endurance I have learned to love them and the results they yield (lean muscle tone and MORE energy being my faves) .

My first trimester was BRUTAL, so I stuck to resistance training, low impact cardio, and yoga, but today my body was craving a good higher intensity sweat. So I delivered 🙌🏼 #pregnantnotpowerless .

If you’re looking to just get started I have an amazing community where you can explore your health and fitness and be coached every step of the way. Never hesitate to connect with me to learn more!! 😘😊🙌🏼

Sunrise Seaside Gentle Flow
Aloha Friday started with an gentle Sunrise Seaside Flow. .

I love beachside practice and breathing in the ocean air, but it’s always an exercise in patience and grace when you’re trying to balance in sand 😊. Especially when your core is being occupied my the tiniest of humans 🤰🏼 .

Now this mama is primed for a little cardio, and then Acai bowls with my fam… (when they finally wake up) 😊
