Feel Good Healthy… COMFORT Food!!

Are you trying to get more veggies while disguising them as delicious grub for the littles!?! Or maybe you want to feed the whole fam bam a healthy hearty meal.
I swear this recipe will trick your taste buds into thinking your seriously indulging, and will surely fill you up!!
Shrimp Vegan Alfredo over Zoodles or Noodles
You’ll Need…
• 2 Zucchini or 1 Spaghetti Squash
• 1 Head of Organic Cauliflower (chopped)
• 1-2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
• 1/2 a medium Lemon
• 1 tsp Organic White Miso Paste (optional to increase thickness)
• 1 cup unsweetened unflavored Almond Milk
• 1 TBSP of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
• Pink Himalayan sea salt and Black Pepper
• Optional Protein of choice. (I did shrimp)
• Optional hot sauce of choice


DIRECTIONS:
CHOOSE A BASE:
NOODLES…. If preparing regular pasta boil your water & cook per instructions
SPAGHETTI SQUASH: If trying spaghetti squash, preheat oven to 400 degrees F, cut spaghetti squash in half & clean out pulp, drizzle with EVOO, bake at 400 degrees for 40 mins.
-OR-
ZOODLES…. Make Zoodles with a spiral tool the. Steam over boiling water until heated through, without getting mushy.
CAULIFLOWER ALFREDO :
Bring water to a boil and add chopped Cauliflower (boil until soft)
In a small bowl mix together 1 Tbsp olive oil, 1/2 a juiced lemon, 1-2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tsp of miso paste, and 1-3 tsp of sea salt, 1 tsp ground black pepper (set aside)
Add cooked cauliflower to blender or Vitamix, add in lemon miso mixture and 1 cup almond milk.
Blend….
BRING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Place base (either pasta, shredded spaghetti squash, OR Zoodles in a bowl, top with optional protein, and Cauliflower Alfredo sauce. (Season to taste) Optional dash of Cholula if you like a spicy kick.
Sooooooo filling and sooooooo yummy!!

    Lahey includes less water and uses a 500 degree broiler. Bittman utilizes somewhat more water and a 450 degree stove. I don't care for darkened hulls, so I adhered to the 450 degrees. top 5 toastmaster machines

    When that happens we start feeling sick or weak and this I have found out that when it happens will cause people to eat more foods to stop the stomach's cleansing work thus stopping the poisons from coming up to the surface and with this stopping comes our relief from the weakness that the food residues now turning into poison causes us to feel.zoete aardappel bakken
