What we do in the morning sets the tone for our WHOLE day. Being a mama of 2 I need all the help & energy I can get. Below are my “Go To” energy boosting must haves that I personally use to kick start my day!
1. DRINK CLEANSING LEMON WATER WITH APPLE CIDER VINEGAR TO NATURALLY BOOST ENERGY
Lemon Water is a simple & great way to stimulate digestion, release toxins from the liver, and jumpstarts your metabolism & digestion first thing in the day! By adding RAW ACV (apple cider vinegar you add even more detoxifying effects).
NOTE: If you feel nauseous or have heart burn after drinking, omit the ACV. This reaction can be caused by the body releasing toxins. Continue with the lemon, or only use 1/2 tsp of Bragg’s ACV to 8 oz of Water.
How to use: • Squeeze juice of 1 Lemon into 8 oz of Filtered Water. Optional… add 1 tsp of Raw ACV for extra detoxifying effects, stir and drink immediately.
2. SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS… 😉 OF POWER GREENS
Our bodies are naturally very acidic in the morning because it works hard to cleanse itself overnight when it’s being given a break from food and activity. At night all the wastes from the previous day (or even days) make their way through our system. This is natures way of giving us a “fresh start”, but the overnight detoxing can be one of the reasons we feel more sluggish in the morning. Instead of downing caffeine first thing, our bodies will THRIVE by giving it a HIGH QUALITY alkaline boost in the morning.
I’ve tried SO MANY different greens shots, but Power Greens is by far my favorite (judging by the effects I feel). It has the most potent dose of green superfoods that contain vitamins, minerals, and vital phytonutrients, there are absolutely NO artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives, AND its unique formula helps support the body’s acid/alkaline balance. Alkalizing with this type of a shot helps promote energy, eliminate inflammation, and aides in soothing erratic digestion and achy muscles.

For years I drank “protein” shakes, and would always still be hungry after and never felt much of a difference energy wise. I then learned a valuable lesson through years of trial and error. Not all supplements are created equal, and depending on the quality you will FEEL the difference.
After much skepticism I tried the one I use now, Shakeology , and after FEELING the difference I have used nothing else for the past 5 years. So if you ask me will you get the same energizing and satiated effects using my Supercharge Smoothie Recipe below, but subbing in a lesser protein mix as your base, my answer will be no (based on my personal experience and 5 years of helping others with this exact supplement). I recommend Shakeology and the recipe I use below because it’s my tried and true nutrient-dense, superfood-packed protein smoothie of choice daily.

4. Go- Go Juice aka Energize
Ever struggle with low energy, no motivation, or lack of focus? “YES!”, said every mom who ever lived ;), Ha! ENERGIZE which I lovingly call Go Go Juice is my go to for this!
