Last summer, I had the incredible opportunity to get on the ground level of a start up app company out of Silicon Valley. One year ago Adjacent Apps launched Call Dibs a mobile marketplace that allows military members, vets, and their families to buy, sell, and trade their goods through the app. Being a Navy Spouse myself, I know first hand the usefulness of this app.
We move on average every two years and having to get rid of things pre move, or acquire new things once we get where we’re going, can be a time consuming and costly endeavor. Using Call Dibs is a convenient way to connect with your new military community, list items you no longer need, and potentially help someone else by getting them something they can use.
Through my involvement with Call Dibs I’ve been able to connect with people who have enriched my life exponentially and I know will be life long friends. Also, I’ve been able to develop professional status outside my nursing background, working now in Public Relations and Marketing for Call Dibs. Lastly, utilizing my talent and passion for photography I’ve begun doing editorial work for Call Dibs. Here are a few images from recent photo campaigns for Call Dibs.
